The aim of our Instructional Mentoring & Coaching programme is to deliver targeted, high-quality professional support that strengthens teaching practice, accelerates professional growth, and ensures all participants – Foreign-Trained Teachers (FTTs), Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs), and Heads of Department (HODs) – meet and exceed the professional standards required for your roles.

The UOCltd delivery model will include fortnightly communications, where every two weeks participants engage in either a coaching session—involving review, targeted feedback, and next-step action planning—or a mentoring check-in that provides professional guidance, problem-solving support, and reflective discussion on practice, curriculum conversations, and career development; these sessions are intentionally aligned with the monthly professional development themes to reinforce learning and ensure new skills are effectively embedded.
By the end of our programme you will demonstrate improved confidence and competence in teaching, leadership, and pupil engagement. As well as show measurable progress against the Teachers’ Standards (FTTs & NQTs) or leadership competencies (HODs), in order to establish sustainable habits of self-reflection, peer collaboration, and continuous improvement.
