Who are we?

UOC is a collective of experienced teachers and education leaders, united by a shared mission to prepare aspiring educators for success on their journey to QTS. UOC brings together a community of experienced teachers, mentors, and leaders who specialise in guiding aspiring educators towards Qualified Teacher Status.

We believe every aspiring teacher deserves a clear, supportive pathway into UK teaching—regardless of where their journey began. Our Pre-QTS initiative is designed to bridge the gap between teaching experience and the professional requirements of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

We work with overseas-trained teachers, teaching assistants, career changers, and early-career educators to provide the tools, resources, and personalised support they need to confidently step into the classroom and progress towards QTS.

Our team is made up of experienced Teacher trainers, Mentors, and Education leaders who bring both real classroom practice and strategic system knowledge. We don’t just teach theory—we coach, guide, and equip you with the practical skills and professional portfolio you need to succeed.
